about

Via is a zealous writer with a background in fashion merchandising and retail marketing. Over the years, she has worn many hats as she navigated the fast-paced fashion scene in New York City—working as a PR and social media manager, producing and styling photoshoots, and contributing to dozens of creative campaigns. Her expertise even led to the big screen, conducting interviews and hosting segments for PIX11 News, Manhattan Neighborhood Network, and up-and-coming live-stream shopping apps. Additionally, as a skilled copywriter, she has crafted commercial scripts for major brands, channeling her passion for impactful storytelling in many forms.

When the pandemic reshaped her path, Via embraced the opportunity to focus on writing and creative projects. Now freelancing, she writes about fashion, lifestyle, and local buzz while working as an editorial assistant. Through her work, she combines creativity, precision, and a unique perspective, connecting ideas and audiences in meaningful ways.

In her free time, Via engages in fashion photography, thrifting, video editing, and designing collage art made from recycled materials. Living in small New York City apartments, she was nearly forced to downsize her extensive fashion magazine collection but she just couldn’t let them go! Instead of discarding them, she decided to repurpose the glossy pages into new, abstract art. Since 2020, Via has completed dozens of custom orders, participated in art showcases, and created collages of various shapes and sizes. Her collage alias, “Girls Got Chops,” began as a hobby and has evolved into a side gig that reflects the sparkly, creative corners of her mind.
